Canon 70D Video Autofocus Tests using a superb testing method

The person running these test has had access to a pre-production Canon 70 and now also a production model. I think that he has come up with a great way to test Video Autofocus.

How?

Out on a highway.

A Bus on the highway is faster, than a human running towards the camera.

He also tests the other way around, in an automobile while traveling down the highway. In that case the camera is traveling along the highway and trying to maintain focus on the stationary road signs. Note also that maintaining autofocus was made harder by shooting thru the windshield.

To me this makes for a better test, than having someone run towards the camera. It tests how quick the processing is inside the Canon 70D, to be able to maintain video focus of objects traveling at highway speeds.
